Throughout the Summer, I paid attention to the food access issues facing some of our properties throughout DC. The gardens help supplement some problems but there are many underlying factors that play into food insecurity.
Throughout the summer, there were many projects I took part in that shaped my summer and many gardens and properties. These projects should receive continued support because of their success and further potential.
A summer seems like a long time until its over. While I feel that I accomplished as much as I could this summer, there was only so much that I could do. These are the goals and plans I have for each property and its gardens throughout the next year.
